Ohio Glass Museum, 124 West Main Street, Lancaster, will hold a fund raising event Saturday, March 10, featuring Brian Alexander, the author of Glass House: The 1% Economy and the Shattering of the All-American Town, the book about Lancaster and Anchor Hocking was published one year ago to both praise and criticism. Neither Alexander, nor the book’s publisher, St. Martin’s Press, which has donated hardback copies of Glass House for sale by the museum, will receive any payment. All sale of books and raffle proceeds will benefit the museum. The Barnes and Noble store in Pickerington will be donating a gift basket for a museum raffle.
At the event, to be held from 2-4 P.M., Alexander will answer any questions, including about the year since the book’s initial publication. In addition, he will sign any copy of the book, which was released in paperback last month, no matter when it was purchased or from whom. Books are expected to be available at the museum starting February 15. Paperbacks are also available for sale at Pickerington’s Barnes and Noble.
Please take this opportunity to visit with Brian. Your donation is always appreciated.
