PETER O’ROURKE’S CUT GLASS EXHIBITION AT OHIO GLASS MUSEUM THRU SEPTEMBER 1, 2019
View exquisite bowls and more by Master Glass Cutter, Peter O’Rourke. Numerous cut glass creations are available for your personal collection or unique gifts. If you did not get downtown for ArtWalk 2019, you can stop by the museum during museum hours from 1 to 4 pm, Tuesday thru Sunday through September 1, 2019 to view this exhibition. There is no charge to view this exquisite glass display in OGM’s Gallery.
O’Rourke, originally from Galway, Ireland, now resides in Mount Pleasant, PA. He began his apprenticeship with Galway Crystal in 1970, which at that time was a direct competitor to Waterford Crystal. There he earned the title of master glass cutter and engraver.
O’Rourke Crystal and Antique Glass is where he has his shop in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania and also offers selections on his website. He is passionate for glass cutting and continues to teach and train the younger generation in the art of glass cutting.
Ohio Glass Museum is located in downtown Lancaster, OH at 124 W. Main Street.
